We always stay at BW when we travel. Good breakfast, clean rooms, staff was friendly. The wharf and Cannery Row just a short 7-10 minute drive.

We paid the extra $30 to pay for our dog. We knew Monterey/Carmel was very dog-friendly, so we planned our trip with her in mind- three hikes, two beach days etc. We had dinner and lunch at restaurants/diners with outdoor seating.

The staff was excellent. They were professional, friendly, and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations, and helping us when we needed to rearrange our room accommodations. Could not have had better service. Rachel was particularly helpful.

Breakfast was good, we managed to get a some biscuit as we were told the wrong time for ending of breakfast which I think was slip by the person. Room was great and comfortable as well was the amenities. The bathroom was a bit dated however was clean.

The location of the hotel on the main road, however, I did not encounter any traffic jams and problems with both exit and entry. At the Venetian, the staff serves guests quickly and efficiently, and you have to wait only 2 minutes for special requests to be fulfilled. The room was large and spacious. Breakfast exceeded even my expectations - hot machine making Pancake and delicious coffee.
